Engineering is intent.
We built Orvix because the gap between a mid-level engineer and a staff engineer isn't syntax knowledge — it's architectural intuition.
Our philosophy
Most platforms teach you how to write code. They give you a blank editor, a failing unit test, and tell you to make the green light appear. That's great for learning languages, but terrible for learning engineering.
Real engineering is messy. It's a Postgres database locking because an upstream service is retrying too aggressively. It's deciding between scaling a monolith or breaking off a microservice when your team is only three people.
We focus purely on the unwritten rules, trade-offs, and mental models of senior engineering.
